I completed my usual testing on the pencils, layering and blending; from the images below you can see that the layering with the Rijks Museum pencils was excellent. Blending also was excellent and as previously mentioned, I completed this test both dry and using odourless mineral spirits.

The layering ability of the pencil is really impressive, I tried this on various different paper types and the paper I found to display the best outcomes was the Strathmore 500 Series Bristol Plate and the Canson 140lb Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper.
The only negative aspect of the Giotto Di Natura is the packaging, which really isn’t a huge deal breaker due to the fact most people will store their colored pencils in wallets or other storage solutions.
