I think after this review, a lot of people will be upset with me and the wonderful people at Faber Castell will not be too enamoured with me either. But I would like to say before I get started, when I complete my reviews, I am always thinking of the artists who watch or read them first and foremost; the financial struggles they may be facing and yet all they want to do is perform art and how much buying expensive art products effects their creative process.
I love trying to put together these comparison articles and videos, I find it therapeutic trying to analyse each product and then compare against the other products. For this analytical comparison, we are looking at the Caran d’Ache Pablo Colored Pencils, Faber Castell Polychromos Colored Pencils and the Holbein Colored Pencils.
One of the questions I am asked the most, outside of review questions, is what supplies I personally use and if I could show people my supplies. So I have completed a more recent review of my desk and the supplies that I use when I get the time to sit down and draw something that I want to draw.

As always I would have loved to provide a 120 set of Faber Castell Polychromos for the giveaway but I just couldn't afford this and so had to settle for the 60 set, which I am quite happy with and think whoever wins will be incredibly happy.
I wasn't going to do a review of the Faber Castell Polychromos, I simply thought, naively, that everything there was to say about these amazing pencils, had already been said by other artists or reviewers. However, I have been receiving a significant number of requests, one such requester has been leaving requests for me to review the polychromos on all my social networking platforms. However, I discovered this wonderful person is seeking a set for Christmas and is hoping the review will nudge Santa in the right direction.
