Arrtx AI Dragon Artwork With New Sketchmarkers

The artwork in this post is of an AI generated Dragon, completed using the brand new Arrtx Sketchmarkers. When using markers, as is the case with all art supplies, using the correct paper is so important and plays a huge part in the overall results. For this particular piece, I used the Strathmore 300 series Bristol Smooth Paper, the perfect surface for markers and colored pencils.

Strathmore provide a fantastic range of Bristol Smooth surfaces, different levels of quality. The Strathmore 500 Series Bristol Plate, is slightly smoother than the Bristol Smooth surface, however, because of its 100% cotton content, the absorption of the alcohol ink is perfect, allowing for layering to take place with colored pencils.

The Strathmore 500 Series Bristol Plate is however quite an expensive paper and a paper I only use when completing important artwork, artwork I may potentially sell prints of at a later date. The overall performance of the Arrtx Sketchmarkers is excellent and in my opinion, they sport the perfect combination of brush and bullet nibs.
