Art Work Using Eberhard Faber Colored Pencils

There are not that many images in this section to show you as this was only a simple botanical piece to help demonstrate the layering ability of the Eberhard Faber Colored Pencils, their pigment strength, richness in pigment and all round pleasantly surprising pencil.

Nevertheless, I have also added the speed drawing which you can view also to help you get a better understanding and feel for the Eberhard Faber Colored Pencils, you can of course check out the speed drawing as and when you like.

The paper I used for this drawing was the Strathmore 400 series Mixed Media paper, although I use Strathmore paper all the time, the 400 and 500 series Mixed Media paper is quite new to me. Since using this Mixed Media paper I have absolutely loved it, there is enough tooth on the paper to layer until your hearts content but at the same time, there is a smoothness to the paper allowing for beautiful blends with alcohol markers such as Copics, ProMarkers, Art N Fly and lots of other such mediums.

To help you get a better understanding and fell for the Eberhard Faber Colored Pencils, I have also added a speed drawing clip of this simple piece of botanical art which you can watch by clicking the relevant link.
