The Corpse Bride
I wanted to draw something for Halloween and also something using just colored pencils, in particular my new 150 set of Prismacolor Premier pencils on Strathmore Toned Tan. As always I have included a speed drawing of this process on my YouTube channel and here on the site I have added progress images from start to finish.
My eldest daughter is a massive fan of Tim Burton and so it was her idea to draw this for Halloween. This drawing took much longer than most of my other drawings simply because I didn't use any markers on this one. I have to say I really enjoyed this process, however I did miss my markers and speed at which I can lay down color with markers.
The Initial Sketch
I recently went back to Prismacolor to try their pencils again after a pretty bad experience, I am so glad I did, because I have really enjoyed using them this time round and I have not experienced any of the issues that I did last time.
