Staedtler Pigment Art Pens Cartoon Drawings
The drawings on this post are just simple cartoons that I loved from my childhood. I created them using the Staedtler Pigment Art Pens, which are on review at the minute. The reason I created two pieces of artwork with the pigment pens is simply due to the Multi Ink Blending Liquid that you can use with them, creating two completely different styles of art.
The cartoons in this post were created using just the Staedtler Pigment Art Pens, the other butterfly piece I completed using both the Pigment Pens and the Blending Liquid can be viewed by simply clicking the link and it will automatically take you to the post.
All four images were created on the same sheet of Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Smooth, whereas the Butterfly was created on Derwent Hot Pressed Watercolour Paper, helping to provide the viewers and I with a better understanding of how the medium works on different surfaces. Staedtler have mentioned on their website the true versatility of the Pigment Art Pens with regard to the various surfaces the pens work on.
